Walkin’ alone under the starry sky
My lonely heart is takin’ a sigh.
With a silent tear comes a silent wish
When this separation will finish?
Being far the moon keeps the sea captive still
So does your love give me the same imprisoned feel.
With the ever budding face of her
The enchanted waves are raisin’ and fallin’.
And so is my heart, with the ever growing love for her.
On a mid-night summer I behold, as I am walkin’,
The lovers are walkin’ ‘n’ sittin’ hands in hands
‘n’ makin’ the castles of sands.
How beautiful is love’s showers!
And to find the heaven in the eyes of lovers!
